Name: Rhonda S Magee
Lives in: I live in Lawrence, Kansas in the United States. Lawrence is home to the University of Kansas and is located just 30 minutes west of Kansas City. It is close enough to Colorado, where I lived for more than 30 years of my adult life!
From: I was born in Loveland, Colorado. My family moved around the western United States for my father’s work, but most of my formative years were in the eastern side of Washington State. After college I moved to Denver, Colorado and remained there for most of the subsequent adult years.
Occupation: My first career was as an Accountant, working as a management accountant in the private sector. My career evolved and I developed a specialty in nonprofit accounting. And then at the age of 50, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management. In 2009 I started my consultancy practice, specializing in Nonprofit organizations. I have had a lifelong passion for the volunteer sector and volunteering, and my work in corporate settings always inspired my interest in “the people behind the numbers” and organizational systems and dynamics. So, my current focus is good for me.
I have 30 years experience with the Enneagram and have studied with a wide variety of teachers. In 2016, I earned a certificate in the Enneagram through an Intensive program at Enneagram Portland. I am wanting to leverage and synthesize all of this so that I can Enneagram wisdom into the practices of Nonprofit Leadership. That is what I am working on!
Tell us your first three jobs (ever!): I had a babysitting job one summer when I was sixteen, where I cared for a six year old full time during the week.
Second job: working as the receptionist at a Modular home (trailer home) sales site.
Third job: working as the bookkeeper, at a gas station up the hill from my aunt’s house. this allowed me to live with my aunt and uncle that summer. I think gas station bookkeeping/sales ledgers are automated now.

What do you love about Greece? The color of the sea and sky… I only know of this through photos but am sure it is similar in reality. I lived for 25 years in a Greek neighborhood in Denver, CO, and I loved the annual festival. Greek folks are vibrant, fun loving, and I love their pastries too. 🙂
Tell us something most people don’t know about you: I play the Celtic harp a little bit.
Where we are most likely to find you in Lynn’s Kundalini Yoga : As a Type 3 panelist for her online Enneagram series.
Tell us your top tip to combat climate change: I think population levels are not being addressed adequately. We should also change to electric vehicles primarily globally, increase train and other public transit, and restoration of the rain forests. It takes more than one thing at this stage, we are behind schedule on turning this around.
